Lost in Thought...Tonight's Best Song Ever...

I don't involve myself in gossip nor do I get caught up in office politics. I am not the least bit captivated by the lives of the so-called stars as described in detail by the gorgeous Lara Spencer on "The Insider". And even when someone nearby is on the phone I try my best to tune out the conversation.

Cos' apart from finding that practice distasteful, I figure that I ought to have enough worthwhile material on my mind to keep myself occupied...the focus should be on making my own life interesting as opposed to choosing to be fascinated by everyone else’s. So I decided a long time ago to be oblivious to everything like that and to instead live in my own little world whilst remaining open to those that would willingly confide in me.

And I only just now realized the problem with that – there's the risk of my being clueless when someone truly important is in deserving need of attention.
