Justice...or Lack Thereof

One of my cousins was robbed of his mobile phone last night, got beaten up just around the corner from my home. He's one of three brothers, none of them managing to do very well in school, but all of them having a brilliant work ethic with the determination to match; always looking for something better with the intention to improve whilst at the same time being forever put down, not least of all by other family members.

It must have been difficult being in that household last night with the siblings venting their frustrations - their mum was too distraught to offer words of comfort (not that it would have helped much). Cos' we're living in a world that for the most part appears to be against them. And it's sad that something like this has to happen for at least a few of us to realize that we're not as badly off as we probably once thought.

Some people don't ask for much. And they should not need to. Cos' respect for life ought to be a given, as is a fair chance to succeed.
