Forever the Same...Tonight's Best Song Ever...
Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 23:03 There's always a time before exams when mass panic sets in, and the feeling can be contagious at that. People are left in utter disbelief when they realize how little they are prepared. Hard to believe that it was only in July last year that we all met up for the first time.
Truth be told, I'm rather relieved cos' I've been putting off working on those courses since the very start - so the intent to reacquaint myself with a study routine was unfortunately not achieved. And there now is a sense of urgency that I'm familiar with, and I like that cos' it feels like something is at stake (which is true). And I'm still not in panic mode.
Panic sets in when one is fearful about the future, immediate or otherwise; and nothing's wrong with that if it sets the pace of what needs to follow. One has to understand what is what - an assessment of the situation is required to ascertain the appropriate intervention. So it is perfectly clear that a lot needs to be done. And there's a certain time in which to do it all. And if it means sacrificing sleep, work, and spare time to complete it all, then that's what it takes. So the question at the end of it all is this: "Am I up to it?" And I hope that my answer to this will forever be the same for all that lies ahead, now, and in the times to come. “Yes, I am.”
